The iconic Ice House was built in 1983 by the Carter family. Since that time there have been only three owners, my wife and I being the third.

Throughout the years many faces have entered through our giant Ice House door. Bob Knight, the Indiana House of Representatives, the Jimmy Fallon crew during the Super Bowl. Its just one of those places you need to visit and hopefully you will continue too.

For years, it operated as it always had and was very successful. In 2014 the Ice House realized it needed to embrace technology and jumped in with both feet adding a POS system to speed ordering and checkout, an automated Rewards program to thank our guests, a fresh new Facebook page, and of course this website. We’re even working on online ordering.
If anyone asks if the beer is cold, just tell them, “It’s the Ice House!”
It has been known for years as great comfort food. And it is, but as the new owners we are also modernizing the menu to accommodate our guests’ desires.

Through the thirty plus years, the Ice House has always been known for good food, and lightning fast service. We are known for our giant door, the many neon signs, the all wood interior, and of course, our giant hand breaded tenderloin. We sell tons of them. There must be a reason? Stop by as we are always changing the menu to meet our guests’ desires and don’t forget your Rewards Card. That’s right. We are now rewarding our guests with discounts and freebies. Did I mention the daily specials? Yes,the filet special will stay but now we also have rib eye and prime rib specials.

Be sure to say hi when you stop in!
